volunteers to assist in an Active Start Program in GF–W, running Saturday
afternoons, starting mid April.

Start is a program; which introduces young children with intellectual
disabilities and their families to the world of Special Olympics.
Ø
Active
Start is a versatile program that can work in various learning situations and
is designed for families to play with their child in a fun atmosphere.
We welcome
volunteers from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. No direct experience is necessary, however
all volunteers mush undergo a registration and screening process through our
local Special Olympics office.

MUSIC PROGRAM
We have developed in conjunction with Kindermusik and Music Program for children ages 2-10. If you are interested in availing from such a program please contact Kimberly-Ann McDonald 486-2301 or Nicole 489-4190 and let us know. There are a limited number of seats for this program. There will be lesson plans with visual supports for each session. The program will run in 13 week blocks.
STARTING: March 5th, 2008 Wednesday
6 - 6:30PM
Running weekly for 13 weeks.
